1st Seahawks Game forcast: rain and fun!

Thanks to the generosity of Kelly Herndon #31 of the Seattle Seahawks my Little, Shelby, got to see her first Seahawks game and take her first train ride. We were lucky enough to be selected to receive 2 of the tickets that Kelly donated. We decided to take the Sounder train down to Qwest Field to avoid having to drive and pay for parking and Shelby was really looking forward to riding the train, and really enjoyed the views of the water on the way down.

It was absolutely pouring during the game, but we had hand warmers, blankets and hoods to keep us mostly dry. Despite of the nasty weather, we had a wonderful time hanging out and it was really fun to be able to take her to her first Seahawk game and on her first train ride. Thank you Big Brothers and Big Sisters and Kelly Herndon for the tickets!
