Gary Duffina and Sean
Not much is known of the beginning. What we do know is that it
started in November of 2000. Sean was almost 10 years old and
his first match had ended a couple months prior. Gary just moved
to Snohomish County a year ago. The only proof of the start is
of 2 photo's taken: One showing two dwarf-like people without
arms and legs but still with hands and feet. The other, showing
two distorted faces. Both photo's are currently secretly secured
by each of them. Six years later the duo is having incredible
trouble, trying to remember how the first meeting went, and has
to resort to embellishing the facts with the crazy ramblings of
people who have totally and irrevocably lost their current train
of thought. Over and over, one thought kept coming to mind "It
has been a lot of fun."
History shows that this duo has been seen at hangouts such as:
McDonalds and Subway, Rollerblading
and Inner-tubing, Laser Tag and Tennis Courts. But the main course
of history would be the dueling strategies they employed on any
strategy game invented. Sean has a history of dominating and annihilating
with his cunning ability and wit. Sometimes the duo will team
up together and dominate civilization after civilization. But
when the two team up together, put their minds together, ruin
and devastation has occurred. Yes, there have been some unsuccessful
missions and events. Somehow the fish seemed to have survived.
No dynamic duo is perfect, but those are overshadowed by historically
noted and memorable events. History has chosen to give Sean the
nickname of "The Destroyer."
Songs have been created that speak out of their mighty will.
So feared throughout the land that those caught uttering their
names are exiled forever, lest the terror awakes and begins their
reign of destruction again. On occasion these two would put aside
their differences to dominate and take over the world! With the
amount of people who are terrified by their determination, they
have tried to hide their appearances. Using disguises such as:
A Burgler, Mob Boss, Julius Cesar, a Knight, a Gladiator, an Executioner,
a Vampire, a Werewolf, and even became Toxic Waste. Unfortunately
for these two they were called out in front of everyone - Every
single time! At least they were compensated with pizza's.
Some famous battles have taken place that have historical importance
and will not be forgotten! Most notable was the defense of Russia
against the unrelenting German Army of tanks and men. In this
battle one single Fighter Pilot earned a position in history surviving
attack after attack and decimating everything he shot with a awe
of accuracy. Then there was the Mage, who tried to survive an
onslaught of a "Stone" spell that had turned his companions
into statues. But because he lacked the agility to run away he
suffered the same fate of his friends as a statue forever. In
Japan, a lone surviving unit left to the commander of an inspiring
Fief won a victorious battle against the marauding invaders. Because
of this strategy, he turned the battle in his favor and allowed
him to unite the country under his control. This strategy has
spread throughout the world and is still used by some today. It
is called "Ring Around the Rosy." On an island somewhere
this dynamic duo utterly destroyed an Apache nation and left it
a toxic wasteland after dropping a Nuclear Weapon on them. Proving
their Military Intelligence on Halo two highly ranked and trained
Master Chiefs took out a legion of Covenant without firing a shot.
And on the planet of Kashyyyk a single sniper held off an invading
Imperial Army.
As with all historically important speeches throughout history
some phrases have weaved their way through the main stream. On
land, sea, and even space not a single location is off limits.
No one will ever forget phrases like these:
"I got left (but you go right)".
"No shooting the Grunts."
"When in doubt
Train."
"Giving is often the best policy, just not all of your supplies
of food!"
"Leave the battle, I'm dead." (usually Gary saying it
to Sean).
"Anti-Aircraft??? More like cardboard boxes with slingshots."
"Show no mercy, this island is Ours and Ours alone."
"We've been playing for 10 hours straight?"
"Run away, Run away. Don't die."
"Why do we always die once in Paris?"
History has permanently been changed. Sean and Gary's names
and experiences will forever dominate the Historical Records.
When put Head-to-Head
nothing but destruction is left. When
combining forces under unity, their synergistic styles have formed
an unbelievably tight bond. They have changed the lives of many
a civilization. In the end it would be nice to remember the activities,
but the experiences will be all that is remembered and live on
forever.
